A Monster

I believe there are monsters born in the world to human parents. some you can see, misshapen and horrible, with huge heads or tiny bodies; some are born with no arms, no legs, some with three arms, some with tails or mouths in odd places. They are accidents and no ones fault. Once they were considered the visible punishments for concealed sins.

And just as there are physical monsters, can there not be mental or psychic monsters born? The face and body may be perfect, but if a twisted gene or a malformed egg can produce physical monsters, may not the same process produce a malformed soul?

Mosnters are variations from the accepted normal to a greater or a less degree. As a child may be born with an arm, so one may be born without kindness or potential of conscience. A man who loses his arms in an accident has a great struggle to adjust himself to his lack, but one born without arms suffers only from people who find him strange. Having never had arms, he cannot miss them. Sometimes when we are little we imagine how it would be to have wings, but there is no reason to suppose it is the same feeling birds have. No, to a monster the norm must seem monsterous, since everyone is normal to himself. To the inner monsters it must be even more obscure, since he has no visable thing to compare with others. To a man born without conscience, a soul-stricken man must seem ridiculous. To a criminal, honesty is foolish. You must not forget that a monster is only a variation, and that to a monster the norm is monsterous.

A dream

Ok sooo I had a really crazy dream last night...want to hear about it? GOOD!

haha soo I was in China or Japan or something and there was this big wore going on it was crazy and somehow I made like a deal practically with the devil that I would have to kill people for them or else they would kill me...

SCENE 2 : there is like this freakish fire across the fake like river thing annd buildings are burning down. and I was chasing this fat man on a horse and I cut his head off...annd then I realized there was like this really peiceful building soo I thought I would be way cool and go see what was in it because I really wanted to hide out from those evil people.

SCENE 3: ok so I'm walking in and they are filming some crazy chinese soap opera...annd the guards jumped mee and the lead guy of that building stopped them (saved my life)..

yeah basically I just hid out there....it was a reallly cool dream but I think you had to be there..haha

I miss you!

*sigh* I miss you people! I"m getting excited the pressure of having your lines done is starting to get people flustered! the best time! so much at stake! it's hard..but more exciting. I'm really loving drama lately (for my certain reaons) haha

I really have to admit that STARZ is getting more boring as we get into it..ha I suppose it's cuz I'm really nobody and just kind of stand there for hours. Not as much drama drama has started up there. everyone is almost bored with eachother because we all already know eachothers drama..Melanie is a new person, yes, but she places herself a bit higher then the rest of them and doesn't socailize herself as much as the younger ones. Not that she is really stuck up or anything it's just that she's alot older then alot of them.

CSDC is of course getting all tense about having a show soon. I was supposed to miss one show and go to a volleyball tournament thing in Nebraska..but I'm really mad about playing time and I don't want to go and stay and do the show. But Matt has like practically taken my spot as an understudy..so I feel bad taking it back..We were all recently casted for the 100 Years of Broadway..and basically no one is happy about it..I mean there are those phew specail few who were incredibly excited about it. Almost like they all know what part you want and perposley don't give it to you. And then their favorites get the parts they want..haha I'm really mean about that but it works out so perfectly well that is almost seems planned. And don't let this escape me that I do realize that we over react and see just because they got those fav. parts that they are the favorites of drama..but sometime it isn't so.

I really wanted to go see the movie the drama group was going to I can't remember what it is called but it looked good. and I think that I could have hung out with some good friends again. BUT there is always next week!

haha that's enough of my life for now...I sickishly have TONS of homework this week! PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!!!

thanks I love you all tons and a million!
